CROMA is a trio project led by Guillem Salles, rooted in jazz and contemporary music. The ensemble features Vicente Marín on piano, Marc Sánchez on double bass, and Guillem Salles on drums and compositions. The band was formed in late 2021 and has since performed numerous concerts across Spain and the Netherlands, playing at various venues and festivals, including Munijazz in Spain.

The trio’s music is inspired by a collection of micro-stories written by Guillem Salles, with each composition corresponding to a specific story. These compositions possess their own unique identity, transcending the role of mere soundtracks for the stories. As a result, the pieces have developed a "suite"-like structure, with multiple sections within each theme.

Contemporary jazz, characterized by the exploration of diverse timbres within the piano-double bass-drums format. The trio intentionally breaks away from traditional instrumental roles, aiming for a fresh approach. Rhythmic exploration is a key element, as the compositions often incorporate complex meters and intricate rhythmic patterns designed to captivate the listener.
