Simone Santini Group is an entity composed of many musical experiences matured over time. Three musicians led by Simone Santini cross a landscape full of glimpses and wide spaces looking far away.

Blue Velvet is a crossover album where melody, harmony and groove define the compositional path together with some excursions in full improvisational freedom. The quartet's sound is modern and develops a wide dynamic range with sounds that go from jazz to pop through funk and film music. This is the substrate from which the compositions are born. The  compositions become the central element in which the component “improvisation” interacts while maintaining formal balance.
