Bilico is an Italian jazz duo composed of trumpet player Jacopo Fagioli and pianist Nico Tangherlini. The duo plays expressive original music within the modern chamber jazz landscape.

The expressive nature of their music emerges from both artists sensibilities, along with their continuous search for balance between sound and listening. The project was born in March, 2019 and received its first recognition the same year by winning the Premio Marco Tamburini award in Rovigo, Italy.

The title of the album is inspired by the concept of being poised, finding oneself in a state of unstable equilibrium. When listening to the album, it is quite clear that the theme of the precariousness of balance is dealt with as a progression of feelings.
