Slow is the New Fast - Slow
Slow is the New Fast - Slow
(CD)
Slow is Slow is the New Fast debut album. An ensemble that has existed for three years and whom has over time developed a sound that bridges the lyrical with the expressive. With Slow, the band wants to put and emphasis on the albumformat to counterweight todays stressed and often fragmented way of life.
The ensemble is influenced by European contemporary classical music and the song Henryk is dedicated to the Polish composer Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki. Gorecki, together with trumpeter Tomasz Stanko, are important sources of inspiration. The title track Slow is the New Fast, tells the story of necessary slow time.
