"Chrysalis" is the debut album by Italian pianist, composer, vocalist and improviser Vijaya Trentin.

The music is based on original compositions and free improvisation on an album that takes the listener on a journey in the subconscious to explore the deepest of emotions. The title "Chrysalis", also reflected in the homonymous song and title track, embodies the key concept, of the evolutionary path towards the music and the effects it has had on its growth-metamorphoses. Music that answers to questions pleasantly interrupting the period of quiescence of conscience, activating dreams of the composer.
