Jazztronomie -  Jazz and Gastronomy – but why?  Saxophonist and chef Peter Edwin is deeply passionate about both jazz and cooking. Jazztronomie takes the listener on a journey that evokes the feeling of attending a dinner party with good friends. An intimate gathering, where everybody contributes to the conversation around the dinner table.

For the making of Jazztronomie II Peter Edwin teamed up with old musical friends. The idea for the album was conceived on a walk and talk during the corona lockdown with producer and pianoplayer Kasper Villaume, who ended out producing it. During the last 20 years Peter has played numerous duo gigs with either Thomas Fonnesbæk or Christian Frank. So bringing them together along with another old friend – drummer Karsten Bagge was the obvious choice.
